Marine Structural Engineer for Consulting Company

SUMMARY:

Heavy marine construction experience desired. Marine structural engineer for the design of bulkheads and piers, as well as concrete design, steel sheet pile design and pile design experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:

Company seeks a licensed P.E. with a minimum of 5 years of experience in performing design analysis of marine structures; construction/building design; conducting design/analysis of steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures; coordinating work assignments and schedules; monitoring work progress and resolving design issues. Successful candidate shall be able to apply previous experience in MSOffice and AutoCAD; communicate clearly with staff; communicate orally and in writing with clients; work with numerous project team members across discipline lines to achieve project completion.

KEYWORDS:

Civil Engineering, P.E., marine structures, bulkheads, piers, Maryland Port Administration.

EXPERIENCE:

  1. BSCE
  2. Licensed P.E.
  3. 5 years of experience
  4. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  5. Valid driver’s license. Have your own transportation.
  6. Available for some travel, overtime, and field work

**Maryland Port Administration experience is a plus.
